hi guys...well...after much discussion with my long time friend mike smith of Bug-In and NHRA B modified fame... wants to get back into vw racing again or at least have a bitchin street car again and wants to "sell out' his 32 ford roadster comp elim race car. over 75K+ invested and ran 8:30's 8 years ago and parked due to financial restraints on going faster to be competitive//less than a handful of passes//new everything from ground up/750 hp on single carb/new shocks and suspension mods as well as trans mods as of recent and will run  some good numbers with some TLC /turn  key complete for only $35K...serious only...e mail me for details if interested or if you perhaps know of anyone....won best appearing car first time out..!! thanks all in hopes to get mike back into the scene again....peace out//dyno don

Sounds like a good deal. I have admired Mike's cars for a long time. hsi red '67 was a big inspiration to me when I was first getting into cal look vw's. I look forward to seing what he comes up with next.

That is a good idea . When he offered his red 67 in Hot VW's magazine i made a long phone call with him , i think it was the most expensive phone call i ever did  :D. It was very nice talking , but he has sold it to Japan at that time  :( . From that time on i decided to built my own red 67 like his car . But this is now 15 years or more ago and i am still working on that car . I hope he will find a good race car .. !! But it is more expensive than driving a V8 car .
