Title: Looking for VW Drums and rotors drilled for Porsche 911 5 on 130mm
Post by: rick m on December 05, 2008, 06:38:13 am
I'd like to hear everyone's recommendations for the best VW drums and rotors with the Porsche 911 (5 on 130mm) pattern drilled in them. I also need the 14mm press in studs for both to go with the rims I am putting on my Chop Top.  Send me your recommendations for the company and your personal experience with fit, quality, metal integrity, etc.

Hey Rick.  I got my rear drums from Russ @ Oldspeed.  I don't remember the make of the drums, but he turned them so they were true, before sending them.  Nice work and easy to deal with.

My fronts are CB drop spindle/disk kits.  Both have been on my car since 2004 and probably have well over 5k miles.

Rick,

I used the ones sold by So Cal Imports. I think AC Industries makes them. The quality looked fine. They did come with a dual chevy/porsche pattern though.
