It would look great on a "tacky" 70s dune buggy, but so would baby shit chocolate brown, jaundiced piss yellow, and unripened tomato orange.   :o

it looks very like that popular British Leyland 70's colour....Harvest Gold.

i'dd go with sepia brown as well, but it is very hard, read impossible, to accurately see what colour is what from a picture. pictures capture light on a specific moment on a specific film and it never ever comes out like the real thing.

so i like the colour, or should i say 'feel' off the car as well, but if it is sepia brown or puke, dodo, nuclear green, i don't know for sure. but i must say it looks like a nice car.

and like some fellow men i have a huge problem in seeing colours that range from red to green and brown... those colours are nice are not. easy. this one NICE, especially with the wheels

Hard to call a color on an overcast day... with the sun shining, it would look completely different.  Looks like pea green to me.

I also think nicolas is right about the Light etc I don't think we'll ever know exactly waht the colour is but I think its F$%KIN AWSOME  ;D

Probably some obscure GM or Ford colour from the 70's.

I agree, and I like it! Reminds me of a green that was on late 60's Ford full size wagons... you know the ones with the ugly fake wood panels ;)

lee...take a look at Volksworld issue 6, page 54 the "taste of Norway" article.....there's a great shot of an 80's looker in that colour....dechromed,one-piece windows and centrelines....very cool.

Now that is beginning to look like an aaawwwfuuulllll color  ;D I would not go that route and not look at the 74 Porsche 914 charts. And certainly not at colors like L65K.  Because, who would want to spray his '66 in such a horrible hue  8) Worse still, try finding two !!!

Since the color of the "for sale" sign is a pretty much standard. Why not adjust the picture in Photoshop until the For sale looks convincing, and THEN judge the color... Unless it's the color you see in the pic that you actually love...  :)

Aaaaaah Ravenna Grün perfect color for a 66. You know, I'm almost afraid to tell you I'm thinking about using an Aronson decklid  ;D The only reasons right now not to would be they are so damned hard to track and you will also be running one  ;)

damn, the butterscotch looks even better on a car, the citron yella is a bit to heavy for my taste.
at the moment my favorit color is the plymouth bahama yellow, it looks more like mustard, the porsche colour looks a bit too orange.

On my screen it looks more butterscotch, pc screens are rarely color true.
