Title: CB Performance HEI distributor? Post by: airstuff on January 07, 2009, 20:50:31 pm Has anybody heard of or used before the CB Performance HEI distributor,and can it be used on a street 2276cc engine?

Post by: airstuff on January 08, 2009, 15:36:44 pm yeah,I need the best for the buck distributor but which has changeable advance curve :)Vacum advance is not a must,but would be a nice adition.Other reasonable price distributor is a 010,Mallory is too much priced and has some quality control issues in the latest production :-[

to do that you need something more expensive like mallory... but do you really need it? i can adjust my advance with the pc, but after reading the stories about locked magnetos, i dont think its so necessary anymore... just set a 010 or 009 at 32° like in the picture: Title: Re: CB Performance CB HEI distributor? I sent an e-mail to the CB Peformance regarding this particular distributor,so will see what they have to say.I can't find it on their web site,and on the Samba forum I read in some topic that it has been discontinued because of quality control issues :o Looking forward to their mail,so I will know exactly where I am . |
