I use 60mm pipes that I found in my backyard. I cut one length of 2m35 and six of 75cm. (http://blogsimages.skynet.be/images_v2/002/548/818/20090422/dyn003_original_640_480_jpeg_2548818_fde6bb6c2e9f884356448246b872485e.jpg) I use a 64mm drill bit to cut the pipes. (http://blogsimages.skynet.be/images_v2/002/548/818/20090422/dyn003_original_640_480_jpeg_2548818_0033c4f27b369e868385dc0dc80865fa.jpg) This way, assembly is very easy. Everything come perfectly together. (http://blogsimages.skynet.be/images_v2/002/548/818/20090422/dyn003_original_480_640_jpeg_2548818_44106d46da900e127f759e8026914a96.jpg) I know, I REALLY need to clean this mess ::) (But, the most messy it is, the more work I do... ) (http://blogsimages.skynet.be/images_v2/002/548/818/20090422/dyn003_original_480_640_jpeg_2548818_4ac2670fed87366c979a3c3afcdc4cb3.jpg) I made some brackets to put the wheels on. (http://blogsimages.skynet.be/images_v2/002/548/818/20090422/dyn003_original_640_480_jpeg_2548818_4a9bdfa0e5aedde4c7354f230ee57922.jpg) And here it is. I just need to paint it. (http://blogsimages.skynet.be/images_v2/002/548/818/20090422/dyn003_original_800_600_jpeg_2548818_c2c64aceae14cd1735cda6adbb6c01d5.jpg) It's not difficult to do, it took me a full day of work but I think it worth it. Total cost; less than 80€. I buy the wheels for 64€ and the rest for bolts, cutting disc, welding. ;) Title: Re: Building A Body Dolly For Your Project Post by: lowfastbus on April 22, 2009, 21:26:48 pm Hey JF I'll take it for the double off the price you made it minus the wheels, 16x2 = 32€

Thx Jelle Title: Re: Building A Body Dolly For Your Project Post by: j-f on April 26, 2009, 12:25:36 pm JF can you post a pic off where it attaches to the shell? Thx Jelle It is bolt where the front beam is attaches on the body and by 2 bolts on the luggage area. It's enough as it is quite light.
