Title: So Cal. winter blues Post by: Dustin on January 19, 2009, 03:59:40 am Spent most of Saturday going through my DCNF 42's to troubleshoot a rich #3 cylinder, resync the carbs and adjust the valves. Didn't find anything wrong but put it back together and it's running great again. Must have been some blockage somewhere. Thanks Shubee for the help.
You would never know it was mid-January from todays weather! The wife and I took a nearly 100 mile round trip down to the coast and the wife took some pics to capture the absolutely beautiful day we had cruising from Newport up to Bolsa Chica. Had I known I was going to own the car two months after it was finished, I definitely would have done things differently. And I was married so I remember the comply protocol, as well. Speaking of winter... wish this wet stuff would stop fallin' from the sky. I really wanted to take my '67 out, today. Oh well. Just went out and had some fun in my Bimmer. Four wheel drifts in corners are fun. Especially when my girlfriend's screaming. HAHA!! It's funny, 'cause my sons actually love it. They were raised taking corners fast in anything with wheels. Seats are stocks and originals and bumpers are repops as the rubbers. I don't know if rubbers are the right year for the car, but I love the finished touch it gives.
