Brothers did most of the work on the motor. We're waiting on the header (too long) so we can get the oil lines done and then off to the dyno. We'll be finishing up the "rolling" pan this weekend, then start the cage and seatmount fitting. It's going slower than hoped for, but....... Hopefully we'll get the last black powdercoat run back today and get the motor ready for the dyno early next week. We're behind our original schedule, but things are "rolling" along.

Once we test fit the oil and fuel lines and do some more mounting, it is ready for paint. Paul Smoot is going to paint it (painted a number of the GFK cars) and once it is done there it is going straight down to WCC to have Lenny and crew install the windows and interior as well as do a full wiring job on the car with a new harness. We will put the rest of the car back together once they are done and have the chassis aligned before it hits any pavement.We are aiming to actually debut it Classic weekend, with the first time it being out at the DKP cruise that weekend. Then we will run it. I dont expect to blow any doors off in S/G the first year it is out I just want to make sure everything stays bolted together and we can get it running right. :D

Whatever works out as the best combo for racing will be what we use at the strip. So far, we've done everything on paper for the numbers needed, and so far we've gotten what we want. Now,,we have to put it together and see if it does what it's supposed to do.

The barretts always help us out at the track as well. 4 passes, consistent 114+ mph...final pass 11.50 I loved that Mike Smith style Burn out you did. I was back a bit and as the car started to squirell, I watched as it got sideways and more er, uh... sidewayser.. Nice car guys.. good seeing you two again.. And tell that crazy man to stop yelling out the truck window at strangers at stop lights!!!!
