The Cal-look Lounge

I was Board the Other Day and decided to Play with the Welder and some spare deck lids spent about 5 hours  Welding both these just need to finish  the metal work on them, they  came out good, I tryed Zacks way on the 67 lid I wont do that again LOL the later Deck lids are shorter and fat and the vents are flater then the 67 lid so what you end up with after welding it all up is a curved deck 67 lid with flat Vents they dont have as much curve as a 67 vert lid So I had to put a curve in the vents so there flush with the curve of the lid they did not warp much at all from welding but I had to do alot of tweeking of the vents to make it look right.

Dont know yet as you can see my 67 in te Back Ground is vent less LOL dont know if I will use this or the 3 vent one I made

i can't remember seeing pics of that '67. is that the next project after the '58?

Not After!!     I am doing them Both at the Same Time LOL the Ruby Red Paint is still nice on the 67 so for now it will be a RESTO CAL LOOK (with trim) LMAO like most of the cars the 58 will be Full On Old School Cal Look

alright, don't you think the other 3 vent decklid will be a bit too funky for a car with trim?
