It's not a show and shine car but a patina look one. Today,I paint the chrome frame in black. Title: Re: 60hp and 93Nm Post by: nicolas on February 11, 2009, 10:59:56 am hey
since it is not a fully rebuilding off the car, leave it as it is. just add some period correct things and it will look nice the way it is. i saw a very very nice (swedish, finish, norwegian,???) car parked right in front off the VoWo show last year just before it opened and i liked that car very much. blue car single quietpack,... and it was not a showstopper, but had a great look in my opinion. i was last weekend on the 1/8 mile with my daily driver 36hp oval did you ever run it on the stripe? would be a nice competition. Title: Re: 60hp and 93Nm Post by: Turtle001 on June 30, 2010, 16:46:44 pm my 59er need some adjustments -- but it would be nice racing those 36hp engines
Title: Re: 60hp and 93Nm Post by: mymedusa on June 30, 2010, 17:01:10 pm wow, very cool.
i think here in germany "oval56.de" also would race his 36er hebmueller or his 57 oval with 1433 36er against others. when i am right jakke has a friend with a very powerful 36hp case engine with porsche 356 heads. i also have another fast 36er in an 1960 pure patina bug. i think its time for a vintage race day somewere in the middle of us all. :o wishes christian Title: Re: 60hp and 93Nm Post by: fredy66 on July 01, 2010, 02:11:16 am my 59er need some adjustments -- but it would be nice racing those 36hp engines my 30 hp don't look that Way There have to be somethings wrong need to fix that :D Title: Re: 60hp and 93Nm Post by: OOC on July 01, 2010, 07:50:15 am do you wanne drive on spa? the webside says the driver needs seat belts :( i was last weekend on the 1/8 mile with my daily driver 36hp oval did you ever run it on the stripe? would be a nice competition. Hey Christian, You need a roll cage too, don't know if Andi will put that on the Heb :o Ask him about the 2011 B.C Oldspeed Challenge ;D We are trying to organise some stuff for 36ers but it takes time..... Spa 2011- Were taking the '53 OOCrasa (if it doesn't go BANG at the Oldspeed Challenge ;D) and some others Le Mans Classic 2012 - were going to play with the big boys driving the track, everyone is welcome ;) Title: Re: 60hp and 93Nm Post by: mymedusa on July 01, 2010, 08:55:14 am sounds very cool.
seatbelts ok, but roll cage for us...huuh that would make me slower 1 sec on the 1/8 mile ;) would be nice to have some 36er racing...1/8 is a good distance how i think after driving it. if you need some help with the organisation or some help to convince some people to let a 36er class start without cage and stuff...let me know. wishes from berlin/germany chris Title: Re: 60hp and 93Nm Post by: Jakke on July 01, 2010, 11:08:54 am Nice ride turtle001!
