Title: Wanted: 4 bolt skinny wheels FOUND
Post by: gingabloke on February 08, 2009, 12:27:31 pm
Wanted for my race car as I'm too chicken to run without front brakes!  :D

Looking for 3½" or 4" x 15" and, preferably, to clear disc brakes.

Ideally Centerline, Erco or similar to suit the car but will consider others

As for breaks, I still think you need to make a call to Deist (http://www.deist.com/) or Stroud (http://stroudsafety.com/http://stroudsafety.com/).  :)

If you are going to add brakes, why not go wide 5 and get more choice in wheels?

Mostly because it's a '68 and has 4-bolt rear and I already have spindles, discs, calipers etc already.

Plus I was told wide 5 on ball joint wasn't cheap but I'd not considered drums which may be the way forward.

That said I've had an offer of fronts already which I'm stewing on.

Cool, the wide 5 drum conversion is easy and cheap so worth considering
