Not shure if this is the right place to post, but I want to ask if you guys are willing to vote on my car, as I can win an award in the Super VW's Magazine. They have chosen 10 cars where You can vote for to be in the "TOP 10 2006" of Super VW. The voting ends on Januar 15th. 2007.

But, not only i can win, You can win one of the Jada toys beetles in scale 1/24 ( value 26 euroz ). Out all of the cards 10 winners will be taken.

did European '67s have cloth sunroofs? us had steel.

you could buy a base model 67 with a factory cloth sunroof

It's interesting to see how VW congifured the cars for different markets.

what makes them rarest of the rare
a standard modell while deluxe wasn't that more expensive
and a standard modell G so with a sliding sunroof, while the newer deluxe had steel sunroofs
so a person would go and buy a standard (base price lesser than deluxe modell) but with an extra (more expensive) option : sliding sunroof

.... making the standard he was buying with a cloth sunroof even more expensive than a deluxe with steel roof ....

I know it is sacrelidge, but i keep thinking about doing my 67 like that with a sunroof and no chrome (standard clone)

Yes I remember......I should have let You know right away. But I didn't find out untill a week ago.
And I have some extenuating circomstances like I am short in time at the moment, because I am raising twins and
that is a full time job together with my work.
