Title: IDA builders in UK? Post by: jmarkha1 on February 28, 2009, 12:49:41 pm Anyone know of anyone offering IDA rebuilding / modification in UK?
I have a pair of Italian IDAs that need a freshen up along with 3rd progression holes, replacement of a shaft and possibly enlarged bowls. I have full WEBER rebuild kits and the shaft but not sure whether I am up to adding the progression holes or changing the shaft. I have thought about 51.5 conversion but not sure there is anyone in UK who can do it OR whether I need it. I run a 2332 with 44/38 ported elims running 12.5:1 in a street car. Currently with 42 vents - it feels fine to me but similar motrs run 48s / 51s - any thoughts on which size prior to rebuild... Title: Re: IDA builders in UK?
