Post by: richie on March 10, 2009, 18:18:35 pm
Last weekend i ran at Bakerfield march meet in C/Gas,only got 1 pass due to the clutch failing but it left an impression on the track and my T bars :o

Video isnt brilliant as it was taken on a camera but you get the idea :D

Are you getting any closer to being over these sky high wheelies? I wish you'd get some wheelie bars and get that thing out of the hole.

  Oh....  and Cheers.

You will run slower if you use your T bars as a plough  ;D

You should make new T-bars of Ti or Magnesium and race Thu nights at Irwindale, that should light up the place  ;D

jason,it had actually been behaving,I think some of the broken clutch disc got caught up causing it to bind and hit too hard, clutch was set soft to slip a little, hopefully I will find out this weekend if it works ok or not :)

As a race car Richie's cabrio is a piece of shit, it's overweight, aerodynamically flawed, has way to little finesse in the suspension department and too much power by a long way. Yet in all of that equation there's not one element Richie doesn't know how to improve on, it's just that he choses not to. It's great.

:)

Better still, this year there are a bunch more monkeys in the barrel. :o

Looking at Mcleods homepage it seems like the 8" ironsinter is only availible in "HCF= HIGH COFFICENCY OF FRICTION".
My friend Paolo who drives a Topdoorslammer/Promod          http://www.protruck.se/   prefers the Crower ones over the Mcleod ones.
I bought mine at RLR and thats a Crower 5135.

Have you run with inboard camera on one of those high wheelies Richie?
It would have been so cool to see and perhaps get a taste of what it feels like running that high! Please share if you have  :)
