no sorry jim,
the only thing i know is that they open the exhaust and put something out, but can,t say anything exactly.

is this for sheeps engine?
in germany are some companys selling stock looking stainless steel exhausts which flow much better.

a friend of mine cut one open and had a peek. they shortened the pipes that the stock muffler has inside to some amount. supposedly it took a pile of mufflers to try on the dyne to see what lenght was best. my buddy abandoned the project to use one for his car, if you ever heard the noise it makes, you know why, its fucking loud ;D

And one is been rebuilt by Jim Clavert (which is one reason my engine is taking so long)

they opened the muffler, widened all reductions and they cleared the tail pipes.
about 5 horses was the result of this modification.[attachment=1]

Has anyone used the new Vintage Speed exhausts? I haven't, but the workmanship is very nice, sound is good, and I've heard nothing but positive feedback about the company and their products.

Looks right to me. But then again, DEEKS were running engines like that, thirty or so years ago, just to joke around. Sounded pretty good, actually. That was the beauty of hangin' out with that great family... we ignored rules and had our own fun.
