Title: VW-PORSCHE BOXTER
Post by: vwcab on March 13, 2009, 14:13:46 pm
While reading the latest issue of" vw-speed"(german mag),there was these interesting car in it(my opinion  ;D )
It is a vw1303(super beetle for the yanks) bodyshell, welded to a Porsche boxter chassis.
It has all the running gear from that car:-3.2l(270hp)
                                                       -6 speed gearbox
                                                       -18" wheels
(it's actually a" new "interpretation of the "NORDSTADT beetle from the early '70)
Have a look at:

I thought about the 'vert using the boxter windscreen and electric roof too! Even use the boxter door frames, just with a Ghia outer skin modified to fit... ;)

Could even throw away that nasty wet 6-cylinder and put a big type 4 motor in there too! :D

Finally! A mid-engined Type 1!!! COOL! Make it Cal Look and even better. Also, the K.G. is nice, but ditch the blue turn indicator bulbs and wheels for Fuchs 911 or 914 wheels. Leave 'em factory anodized and you've got one mean performing and looking car.
