About the taillights, I have a set or two of those... they were made for people that wanted to upgrade their pre 63 cars to latest rage. From what I hear they were sold by anyone except VW themselves. I started to work for VW in 1976 and the dealership I worked for had several sets of these cast units on the shelf. They must have been there for many years as the Dealership had been in operation from the realy 60's andthey never threw anything away. We had complete Split Bus Front Clips on the service dept roof rusting away.... ::) Happy, Happy Days :) |
