Yes, they are eccentric. With these bolds you can adjust the rearwheel camber.
Do you have an adres or mail of Wayne Allman.

Paul.

excuse my ignorance when it comes to IRS, but what is it these bolts do and how do they differ from a stock VW IRS setup?

I haven't received mine yet as you can see, so I have no first hand experience.
My understanding though is that these eccentric bolts will make the pivot centreline adjustable a few millimeters up/down or front/rear. Adjusting the pivot up will compensate when lowering to keep the camber in control.
In my case, I hope to be able to get the proper toe-in by adjusting the pivot rearwards to compensate for a crappy IRS conversion made before I bought the car. Both rear wheels are adjusted as much forward as possible on the springplates but I still have about 3mm toe-out measured at the rim. I'm crossing my fingers that these bolts will fix the problem. My only other option will be to cut off the pivot brackets and weld in new ones. This means buying a set of jigs, get someone to cut brackets off a IRS car and lifting the body off the chassis. That's not going to happen any time soon, I assure you.   :-[

You can open up the spring plate holes to move it some more, quite common to do this

cheers richie,uk

Hey Richie!

How are you doing? Haven't talked to you in a while. Last time was Vegas last october I think?
Is the 'vert still in US of A?

Anyways, the V-shape on the rear of the springplate touches the diagonal arms already so opening up the holes more won't do any good. If I grind the V-shape bigger, I'm afraid I'll go into the holes. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or if it is a stupid thing to do, weakening it?

Best regards
Morten
