He raced the Purple Potato Chip to victory at Bug-In 1 and aslo won Top Eliminator in that car for sale at Bug-In 32 ! I was there helping my fellow Club member troy Palmer who had just lost to that car, but did win Quick 32 ! I am nt sure what year Bud built that car. Bud ran a business in the 60's and 70's making stroker cranks, etc.. I have some of his catalogs and am glad to have called him my friend. He is sorely missed. Not sure when it was built but been around a while.
