Title: lap belt mounts Post by: louisb on April 26, 2009, 22:29:23 pm I plan to run 4 point racing harnesses in the '66 and I have a question about the lap belt mounts. Is there any problem with using the stock mounting location on my '66? Using the stock mounting points would put it close to the maximum of 60 deg. Any thoughts or input?

Title: Re: lap belt mounts Post by: deano on April 27, 2009, 03:00:14 am I'm not a big fan of using the center two mounting points, one due to their location (front-to-back), and two they change the angle on one side of the belt. The seat belt angle should be close to 45 degrees as possible. I know it would make things easier, but..... I covered this subject in my pan story in HVWs...
