John, I just noticed in a picture that your car looks a little refreshed. Do tell what you have done. Looks great! Casey.

I second that.  I looked it over and saw the change in the engine compartment, but didn't see the other changes.  In addition, I admire anyone who can do the B and P on their car.  John did it all.  Kudos.

good for John. How many guys can say they have restored the car that they came home from hospital (after being born) in? Not to mention it's a 12 sec ride now. That's loyalty.

Thanks for noticing , you guys, I appreciate it. It was a full restoration just shy of pan off. I pulled the car apart at Halloween and redid the body work, repainted in four coats of single stage urethane that I mixed awhile back, redid the interior and screwed it back together. It was difficult dealing with Mother Nature, as I was painting it in my driveway via an EZ up, and had to contend with rain, wind and Yorba Linda  and Anaheim Hills burning to the ground and leaving all the ash in my yard. Luckily I finished it a week before Bug In, so I didn't have to thrash it back together. It sure feels good driving it around again! Thanks again for noticing!

too cool john!
i didn't notice you rebuilt it from the pictures, i didn't think there was anything wrong with the paint.
of course it may be different in real life. anyway, well done! and don't forget to shoot some pics when you find the time.  ;)
