Title: Bill Mitchell's Motion mini car Post by: vwxtc4free on May 11, 2009, 02:03:21 am So I was reading an old issue of Ultra VW About Dave Conklin's find and the relinquishing of that dream to the former owner.
Just wondering what is going on with the car and if there are any pics of the reconstruction of this historic car ? Anyone have the issue of Volkswagen Greats with this car ? Just wondering if there was any progress on it since then.

I was stoked and had him sign a business card of mine. He was totally amazed that anybody remembered what he did "way back then"....Kinda cool> When I walked up and asked for him, his son said "why?". It turned into a "I remember when" thang......He's moved on.
