Yes, very good cam the power starts about to come on properly at about 3000 to 6000 rpm when the power starts droping off. good around town and when you pt your foot down I set my shift light for about 5850 on the street ps running 48idas with Brothers machine 42/37 heads, scat 1:4/1 rockers, H beam 5.4 rods and 82mm crank and the car is full weight with bumpers etc Title: Re: 2332cc type1 with fk8 cam Post by: DKK Ted on May 13, 2009, 16:28:48 pm I use to run a K8 in my 2303cc when I use to work at Bergs, 50 miles a day, 5 days a week, with occasional burn out after work, :-) with no proiblems, Ran a 83mm Demilio crank, 44/37 Performance Tech. heads, Eagle rods, K-8 with Berg 1.45 rockers, full MSD ignition, and IDA's. Full weight 69' bug also with bumpers. Ran strong!!

I ran one in my 2276 for a good number of years and I drove it in long commute about 4 days a week. I didn't like the brick wall at top end though and eventually went to FK10 next, |
