I liked ritche's title so I copied it. ;D Congratulations to him though as those are impressive times.

I arrived at the raceway saturday evening and teched my car so that I could make a pass. I had not drag raced in a few years and it showed. I pre-loaded the trans, bogged hard off the line and ran the car out in three gears, which resulted in a 16.xx(lost the timeslip) @ 8x mph. Sunday was much better with cool temps in the morning and my first pass of the day was my best of the weekend. Reaction time .016 with an et of 14.93 @ 93 mph.

I know the car has more potential, but it was running out of power at 5800 rpm when it used to zing to 7000 rpm. I lowered my shift point, practiced consistancy and made a couple more passes in the low 15s. I was having a blast and made it to the first round of eliminations, but went too fast. That put my car on the tow bar, so I walked the show car area and watched some racing with friends. Labor day Bugorama should be fun!!

hmmm.....something's up. That motor should get you into the mid 13's and not run out of breath @ 5800. You sure the cam is full strength?

Judging by the mph you should have at least a low 14 there...
