Title: Just returned from a scottish road trip. Post by: jamiep_jamiep on June 01, 2009, 10:36:17 am unfortunately not in my VW, but anyway, what a great week, first to see my baby sister married in Blairgowrie then visting my in-laws who live on the Isle of Skye.
Breathtaking scenery and unbelievably welcoming people sums it up nicely. Another cool thing was a Porsche club Holland road trip turning up in Portree, Skye's main town. Some awesome machinery in the highlands, I can only imagine how cool it must have been driving those cars on the winding mountain roads... Beautiful beach just outside Dunvegan, I even went in for a swim with 3 seals, just amazing. Title: Re: Just returned from a scottish road trip.
