Title: Need pics/info on EMPI/Solex 40P11 Engines Post by: Zach Gomulka on June 02, 2009, 18:45:20 pm Where do these cad plated arms go? I'm assuming they are throttle stops and work in conjunction with the bolts that are screwed into the linkage/filter bases? ???

I still need aircleaners and/or velocity stacks, but I'm doubtful that I'll ever find them :-\ So for now I'll use some aircleaners from a 356SC as they have a nice OEM look, and are MUCH easier to come by. Back in the 70's I ran a 1600 with 40P11's and the super tall velocity stacks. Not that the motor had any umph, it SOUNDED like a weber motor. REALLY throaty with the tall stacks. Once they were dialed in they drove for days and days without any need of tuning. Plus, those tall stacks are unlike any other. Find them, make them, steal them. We don't need no stinkin' air filters.......
