Post by: Lee.C on June 04, 2009, 15:52:46 pm Well as the title says guys I am building up a chassis for a friend/customer with a 2" narrowed BALL JOINT front beam BUT I am havin some problems with the steering box/ptman arm :-\
Now we have discused the poor positioning of the "lugs" for the steering box on these modern repro beams BUT I am having real trouble with the pitman arm hitting the beam ::) Anyone else had this problem ??? Quick fix though so no worries. Glad we found the reason before you mounted your steeringwheel.

That`s not the way to do it!! Unbolt the 4 screws that holds the beam and then flip it over (left to right). Quick fix.
