Title: Picking up the Split with the "rubber man"
Post by: Jim LoGudice on June 09, 2009, 18:40:32 pm
I came across these pictures the other day and I thought that you guys would get a kick out of them.

This trip started out with Frency and I going to CA to pick up my split window at Lenny Copp's shop a lttle over a year ago.  Rather than taking my enclosed trailer,  Frenchy thought it would be better if we took his old "Deano's Dynosoars" trailer as it is smaller and more streamlined.  The only problem is it is also a lot narrower and you cannot open the car door once it is inside, (I think it was built for a rail).

Here are pictures of Lenny and myself and the trailer

At this point my question was, "how do you get out of the Car"?  Frenchy's answer was "you crawl out the window" , my  response was that I am an old worn out, fat tennis player and have a hard time crawling out of bed  Frenchy says no problem that he could do it, (see the next shots as they still amaze me)  Any how we made it back to AZ where he performed the feat again as Mary and I laughed like crazy.

Regards,
Jim

Hey man, we're old dudes, trying to get out the top with that low ceiling could have caused some damage to the car, not to mention Frenchy :)

Too funny I cant believe I am able to get out of the cars I drive into this trailer. I have bought a new trailer a few weeks ago and this one you can open the door with no problem much nicer trailer. This trailer is for sale.

Thanks Jim for this Frenchy bungie cord LOL

You should keep it specifically for the NSU.

The new enclosed trailer I bought will be perfect for the 32 Hot Rod and for the Ghia to fit inside and the other trailer is nice too but to narrow for my two other cars to fit through the door way.

     Thanks
    Frenchy
