Been loving driving this since I bought it last year.
She who must be obeyed means I can only have one project at a time with the imminent and no doubt painful conception and rebirth of the 'Windy Wagen' (watch this space) this car now has to go :(
£3,500 ono

Finished in British Racing Green it was originally built by Paintbox back in '96. Its been totally dechromed and has a custom smoothed dash with a full set of vdo gauges installed. Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Speedo with trip meter, fuel gauge and rev counter.
Custom bullet door mirrors replace the standard ones and one piece windows are installed.
The decklid is from a 70's cabrio with the double horizontal cooling slots not the later nastier 4 sets of slots.

Full Bernard Newbury trimmed interior with fat biscuit matching door cards and empi door pulls.

Yes that is a Locking Berg Shifter in there too :)

The Original Baby Burners seen in a few pics are available but one wheel has a slight buckle to be fixed or replaced.

Currently has chrome repro Gas Burners just bolted on a few weeks ago with De Rigeur Firestone 145s up front and 195s out the back.
Pics will be added of them tomorrow.

The best part is the Harry Harpics built 1776 bolted in the back.
Based on a new case and heads when originally built, it has a bug pack highlift cam and runs twin 40 webbers and goes like a dream either cruising the motorway or leaving others standing at the lights. It is fully balanced, full flow with separate filter and cooler mounted under the rear seat.
A few of my club members have either driven or ridden in this bug with me and agree its a hoot.
I have the original build receipt for the engine and all the resto work so will add more detail once I've dug them out.

Plenty of pics and info on my readers rides thread here:

For the Cal-look Afficianado's - it ticks 99% of the boxes required

Only bits missing are the t-bars and stand offs (cabrio decklid so no need!) oh and its got rear pop-outs!

£3,500 ono

I'm in Sunbury J1 of the M3 - 07791 805518

Hope to see someone buy this that appreciates the work that went in to build it originally :D
