Title: bugpack 4063-10
Post by: Bad bug on July 20, 2009, 04:00:21 am
Can this cam use dual springs and what is the allowable compression ratio to use with this cam. Is this cam made specifically for a 2.0ltr or smaller engine say a 1835cc. I had this cam in my 1835cc engine with 1.1 : 1 ratio rocker arm and it was a little terror on the road.

Yes it likes a little cc, as it is rellatively high in duration.
I like it in 2 liters and 2110īs.  130 - 145 very streetable hp depending on set up. and good torque. I like to have the CR in the 9,5 range, and then still be able to use Euro 95 octane fuel.  I use mild dual springs with approx 260 lbs over the nose. More than enough. Itīs a good cam that is not so hard on the valve train as many other mainstream cams are.
