Title: How to mount the Licenceplate? Post by: Type1/DVK on January 17, 2007, 22:40:24 pm How do you guys mount the licence plate for those 'temporarily' moments.. (like driving for lots of miles on the highway)

Post by: Andi/DFL on January 18, 2007, 09:10:25 am when I have to, I just use some brackets for small tubes and pull them over the t-bars. fast and easy (wingnuts). but my license plate really fits perfectly between the t-bars :-)

Lucky me, the cops never caught me ... ;D but the last years I did it with tape. I don't care because I removed it directly when I came to a place or meeting. Now I'm using T-bars, so I use the simple solution like Andi, and it works !!! On the highway nobody is watching how you mount your licenceplate, so if I were you just do it as easy as possible. Post by: 69Stu on January 22, 2007, 22:45:30 pm I have made up 2 'L' shaped bracket with a bar welded across the top. The number plate is held on with some rubber 'P' Clips and the brackets are fixed through the spare wheel well using 4 screws with captive nuts or 'Rivnuts'.
