Sorry not very good with tech stuff hope the link works. 1.50 60ft. With the Quaife both tyres warmed up ok in the burnout. Lined up in the groove ok but looks like the driver tyre bites in a lot more than the passenger. Guess with my weight I need to adjust the rear shocks more or start eating rice! Oh and thanks a lot to Ian Blackett for the vids Cheers Phil Title: Re: a bit sideways at Bug Jam Post by: Type1/DVK on July 24, 2009, 07:59:20 am wow :o nice hispeed! thanks
Title: Re: a bit sideways at Bug Jam Post by: Neil Davies on July 24, 2009, 08:40:59 am Phil, do you launch off the handbrake? I used to do that and I had a couple of really sideways launches - turned out that one brake was adjusted tighter than the other so was releasing fractionally later as I dropped the handbrake lever. ::) ;)
Title: Re: a bit sideways at Bug Jam Post by: SteveW on July 24, 2009, 08:51:05 am The track was awful at bug jam though, large patches of asphalt where the treaded tyres had ripped through the rubber, I think that was a cause of our poor launches, one moment it would grip then it would spin!
Great footage though! Can we get ours Phil? Title: Re: a bit sideways at Bug Jam Post by: Phil West on July 24, 2009, 09:02:51 am Phil, do you launch off the handbrake?
