Title: 2110cc Street/Strip engine complete Post by: WhiteTrash on July 26, 2009, 23:42:45 pm Okay I'm putting my current engine up for sale as bigger, faster things are in the pipeline thanks to a very relaxing and interesting SCC.
It runs consistent mid 12's most recently a string of 12.68's at SCC after driving it around Oslo. This engine has been in the car for a while now but freshened up again and is as reliable on the street as on the quartermile. I have driven the car from Bournemouth/England to Chimay for EBI 2 and then onto Berlin and back again to Bournemouth, it has run a best of 12.47 @ 107mph with my old swing axle set up and points. It's a turnkey engine as in the picture with carbs & linkage (bought new in March last year), sump, clutch, exhaust (no muffler), 009 dizzy & coil. Not included are the fan shroud & dynamo. Spec: AS41 case 94mm Bore with Wiseco pistons 76mm Revmaster crank 5.4" Scat H-beam rods with 3/8" ARP bolts FK47 Comp Eliminators with 46/38mm valves, originally refined by Jeff D. with matching CB manifolds 1.4 Scat rockers 10.2 : 1 Compression £4500.00 (http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k148/autobutcher/22082009.jpg) Title: Re: 2110cc Street/Strip engine complete Post by: leec on July 27, 2009, 16:54:58 pm Car looks great Frank.

After watching the ease of road use in cities (oslo) and on the motorways out to SCC and then in use on the track i was seriously impressed! Title: Re: 2110cc Street/Strip engine complete Post by: WhiteTrash on October 05, 2009, 11:03:50 am TTT again.
Went to Shakespare County Raceway last weekend for some RWYB action after tweaking the engine a bit. Got new PB 12.411 with 1.69 60ft. Run 4 more 12.4's with best 60ft 1.66 and 3 12.66's. All with Type 2 gearbox geared for large capacity NOS engine. Anyone looking for new engine for next year, make me a reasonable offer. |
