What product do you use for lube on bearings ?

Use only engine oil.
Any grease you might think about putting in there just blocks the flow of oil when it's time to start the engine.

In the latest Hot Vw were they build a 1776cc , on the pics there`s some kind of red lube seen on the journals/bearings .
Just thought this might were better than oil.

I use STP as the final assemble lube. its thick and sticky and dilutes into the oil once its all running.

mix of 20W50 oil and STP Red

on cam: Liqui Moly MOS2 paste mixed with STP Red
