Thanks Michael Title: Re: Quick release pins Post by: Donny B. on August 31, 2009, 20:48:10 pm If the hinge pins are the same for an oval and a '66 (and I think they are) then you need a 1/4 Inch diameter by 2 inch grip length. You will need to drill out the hinge as the pin is slightly larger in diameter that the stock hinge pin. The link I posted should take you right to the correct size for a VW application. Here it is again.
