Dear racer, here follows some important regulations regarding racing at SCC. ENVIRONMENT It is strictly forbidden to spill any kind of chemical (oil, gasoline etc.) on the ground, or in the nature surrounding the racetrack. There will be collection stations in the pits where you can get rid of the chemicals in a safe way. Please respect this, future events depends on this. PIT AREA Minimum one fire extinguisher pr. team NO open fire! Rear end of car should rest on jackstands and tyres be in the air during warm-up Driver must stay in driver’s seat at all time when engine is running in pit area. Driving in the pit area only allowed at walking speed. If you have ordered electricity available at your depot space, please bring your receipt to the SCC secretariat to receive your “electricity tag”. CAR All cars must be registered and with valid tags. The exception being licensed race cars, ET rules apply and driver must have valid race license. No loose items inside Alle cars with an ET below 11.49sec./402m are to be equipped with a device that collects parts and oil in the case of an engine failure. Approved are a "diaper" configuration, alternatively a collecting tray. TIRES All tires must be ECE/EEC or DOT approved HOSES AND FUEL LINE All hoses and fuel line(s) must be securely fastened and no leaks will be allowed SEATS Drivers seat must be fastened using original fasteners or minimum 4 x 8mm bolts trough the floor SEAT BELTS Minimum 3 point harness is required BATTERY The battery must be secured using the original fasteners or minimum 2 x 10mm bolts and frame DRIVER Must wear an EC approved helmet Must wear gloves Must be fully clothed with preferably cotton clothes Must show a valid driver licence both days. Must attend drivers meeting Driving influenced by alcohol or any drugs is strictly forbidden and will be reported to local police. A one or two day drag licence for all registered street car drivers will be for sale at the strip. Every driver of registered street cars must have such a licence to be able to race their car. This applies to ALL nationalities! License registration must be completed before technical inspection. Please prefill the attached registration form. This will save time at license registration at SCC both to you and the crew. Please provide detailed information of your car, previous results etc. This will be highly appreciated by our speaker and audience. Thank You! See you at SCC!
