Title: Nardi Wheel Refinishing Post by: louisb on August 11, 2009, 15:58:09 pm I have a Nardi wheel that is in good shape but I am thinking of refinishing the wood in a black lacquer (polished spokes) for a slightly different look. Anyone here done lacquer finishes on wood before? I don't think it would be too different than painting metal. Strip the current clear coat, spray a primer coat, sand, then follow with a color and clear coat. Any wood workers out there have any advice?
