Post by: Paul Bahnstormerz on August 13, 2009, 22:50:26 pm
Hi,

What extras do I need to get sorted to fit a Hurst Line Loc? What thread is the line lock, so I can get some  a new hardline made up, etc.

thanks,
Paul

Most likely it is 1/8" female npt in/out.  If you're making new hard lines, converting to sae parts is easier than adapting back and forth to metric.  I run -3 AN adapters to my 3/16" SS hardline.......only adapting at the wheels and m/c.  This saves a lot of head ache in the long run IMO.

or ben at SSP,

or you could snip the ends off the brake lines and fit American ends.

Another place is Speedflow, Fay is really helpful and knows her stuff, all my brakeline hose and fittings were bought there. www.speedflowshop.co.uk (http://www.speedflowshop.co.uk)

Thanks, found a local american car shop, so I'm going to have new hardlines made up and with metric and american fittings as required, Then it's more bleeding out brakes  >:(
