Just curious as people talk about 'pan cars' but what are you refering too? Not the obvious floorpan, is it suspension system? The Red Baron is a 'pan car' but it is back halved..

Yes, it is a torsion bar 'pan car' and on street approved DOT tires. The car is streetlegal and registered with turboengine in registration papers. Tor Øyvind did a little check up on the engine these last few days. Everything looks good. Had some issues with the expansion tank. but a new one is made.

Especially the ProStock heads/engines (and the WBX) impresses me. Everything is just sooo modified and reworked. And I also mean no disrespect at all, thats a huge acomplishment and great job for the hard work to get there. Different "class" is the key, Tor Øyvinds car is a real street car with licence plates. On pump gas. Also there are no ladder bars or anything, just normal IRS conversion. Who has a better ET with these limitations? But I don't think he gives this "record" much thought.... this is just a hobby for him. ;D |
