Even ran it illegally tinted for awhile too. Very popular back then, great idea to bring it back!!!!! Thanks Scott, I always liked the look too. Trust me, I'm not going in headlight glass business... I figured it was the same legwork no matter how many pair I had made so five pair seemed like a good number :D Tempering the glass tripled the price but I figured the end result would be worth it. Mine may end up with a light tint at some point ;) ~DR. Title: Re: Old school flat headlight glass Post by: Kafur1 on September 10, 2009, 22:26:29 pm have any more?

Is that from your old stock, Dave? Had those on my car for a short while right when I built it in '79. Painted the buckets flat black, too. Then, saw the light (pun intent) and from then on, ran some sort of VW and/or Porsche Euro spec lighting on every Volkswagen I owned.
Cool that you're offering the glass ones. I had the cheap plastic wannabe ones. HAHA!! I figured the flat glass would do the trick... and I think it did. ~Dave Title: Re: Old school flat headlight glass Post by: Dave Rosique on September 17, 2009, 21:10:37 pm All sets now sold :) Thanks Loungers ;D ~Dave Title: Re: Old school flat headlight glass Post by: Kafur1 on September 19, 2009, 00:03:12 am thanks dave they are really kool ..... just need some tint now 8)
