Title: Camshaft Registry

I've seen lists of major manufacturers cam choices posted on different websites which is very useful, but rarely see the actual card that displays the opening and closing event numbers and the lobe centers I think this would be very useful & entertaining to put together!

OK, pull out your camcards & scan or take a quick photo.
Type the Manufacturer's name and the part number in the message box and post the scan or photo.
Don't post one that's already in the 'Registry'. ;)

may be stupid question but did some grind changed its specs over time? I realise some grinds are decades old so was there any improvement?

I used to have a shoebox of cam specs, but now I don't even use that cards anymore, I just dial them so they are where I want them, and bolt them up. I bought a steel billet from Roger @ Heads Up about 10 years ago, and asked "where's the card?", and he said "what do you need the card for?"
He was right. You can find lobe center cam is ground on, and from there find you opening and closing from there and adjust in any advance or retard you want from there. OR, like in case of this steel cam, find it was gound 7 deg retard.

The only info I have is it likes 9 to 9.5:1 Cr.

355S, lift with 1.1 rockers 0.390,
304 advertised duration,
0.355 cam lift, 
LC 107,
9.2:1 CR

Seems to be a lot of duration for a short cam. Seems similiar to an old BP 4065-11 cam.
That was about 253degrees advertised at .050 but wanted 1.5 ratio rockers.

Lift at cam is 0.420"/10.7 mm.
For 1.4 ratio rockers, lift will be 0.588"/14.9 mm.
For 1.5's, lift will be 0.630"/16 mm

But if you have a mild nearly stock engine this is the best cam I've used. Really smooth, great economy, and broad torque band, stock or 1.4s rockers.
Schneider probably still have the cam number.

It just saves time knowing exactly what you're installing in your Engine, I've had Cams that weren't even close to the cam tag.....but hey, what do I know...

That's why I have a degree wheel and a dial indicator!
I had a couple cams checked on one of those, but they were set up wrong and the data was useless.
I literally rechecked them in the case ...
Tools are only as good as the user!
