i have a picture somewhere of a prototype fuch .
i dont believe the first design was accepted and is what we know today .
i suspect the overall design was acceptable , but changes where then made to make the spokes more substantial .
i'm sure kieth can fill in the blanks and give much more info .

Yeesh, I remember seeing those wheels on 924 cars in the late '70s or early '80s. Never cared for 'em.

I heared the tale that the fuchs (and many other wheels designed for posrche) had to look even good when they rotate and not only when standing still.
If you ever have seen a detailed fuchs on the motorway, you know what I am talking about and could 100% belive "the tale"
After I saw the cutters in action I had to have them...
