Hey Guys!

Because it's easy to find photos of the exterior of a gasser or cal-look, I started a topic to find interior pics!

And also because I'm going to renew the interior of my '64 bug!
But I dont know what I want yet ::)

For my seets i want something like this (maybe:) ) combined with a Simpson harness:

I like the color and look of these. I think the color would look nice with the seablue color of my bug.

Its good to see a thread like this, I spent ages looking at interior photos trying to work out what i like and how i was going to do mine.

In the end I decided on a interior (well dash layout and steering wheel anyway) similar to Bill Schwimmer stunning coral red ragtop. :)
On mine I lost the radio, and fitted porsche 912 seats with headrests. I'll add a photo later. :)

Oh, and Tigers (A1 mufflers) interior is well worth a look (cant find a picture at the moment). Virtually stock interior, looks very suttle. :)

this is mine, a bit spartan i know but i like it  ;D its not quite finished yet though, the dash is currently sporting a rather fetching shade of white primer.  :D    matt[attachment=1]

Nice! How about some information on the seats. Where did you get them? Who covered them? etc.. I would like to do something similar with my car someday.

If you mean mine they are fibreglass 356 speedster seats trimmed by none other than our very own mr Bernard Newbury. I honestly cannot praise his work enough, they turned out even better than I imagined so thanks again bernie, top drawer  8) the hardest part was making the mounts which use the stock runners as they needed to be a little taller & wider.

Cool. I have seen the fiberglass seats and the related padding on ebay. I would probably be easy to get the same padding at a fabric store and cut them to the desired shape. It would be a fun project to trim the seats. Maybe not ;D, but I try every project on a car at least once.

The car belongs to me and the the seats are Recaro 1328 from the 60/70's.
