Title: VWDRC 2012 Champions Post by: Turbo_Rich on September 25, 2012, 13:27:31 pm Well thats it last weekend saw the final round of the VWDRC championship and with many racers going in to it to battle out for the final spots. Unfortunatley after round 1 of eliminations the rain set in and the event was called. This means that the championship has been decided. A huge congratulations to all those who have attended during the year, battling the elements as well as one another to take it down to the last meet again. VW PRO Winner - James Hodson Runner up - Paul Herbert 3rd Place - Sam Young 4th Place - Bruce Collins 5th Place - Lucy Matthews VW SPORTSMAN Winner - Dean Clatworthy Runner up - Luke Stevenson 3rd Place - James London 4th Place - Steve Pugh 5th Place - Martin Ayton Rookie of the year - Steve Pugh One special mention has to go to Matt Attwood for lending Russ Fellows his driveshaft to allow him to qualify and see if he could go for the 8.
