Title: Jetting 44s for 2109cc
Post by: RUSS74GHIA on August 23, 2014, 16:25:01 pm
Hi,

I'm just about to go up to 44x37 Street Eliminators and 44HPMXs from 40x35.5 043s and 40DRLAs

I want to get a ballpark set-up on the carbs before I get it to the dyno.

The rest of the spec is;
76x94 fully balanced and match-weighted
W125
1.25:1
9.5:1
Track use only.

I thought about the following from looking at other people specs:
38mm venturis
155 mains
f11 or f15 tubes
200 airs

Would that be roundabout the right set-up?

Why 38 vents and not 40's, up the mains to about 170 with them so you don't lock the horses in the stable when going racing, I run 185 mains on 40 chokes for circuit racing for good exhaust valve cooling, for drags you can run leaner.
