Title: Setting adjustable spring plates with heavy duty torsion bars Post by: vwhelmot on July 12, 2017, 18:35:19 pm I`ve got a set of sway away heavy duty rear torsion bars along with a set of saw adjustable plates. Do I set the sag angle at 18 degrees as standard or because the bars are so much thicker do I set them at a lower degree? Is there enough adjustment on the plates to drop the car down a touch if I do set them at 18 degrees? I want the m+h street tyres to fill the arches if you know what I mean.

I set them much like richie describes, though mine sits a little bit on the lowered side(by design). The car rides just fine. Its 2000lbs with me in it though.
