Title: US/UK shipping costs?
Post by: plasticblack on August 22, 2017, 10:47:41 am
Are there an US-based members that know of a reasonably priced carriers for small boxes?

I'm getting quotes for a 10kg box. Current US quotes are anything from $85 to a staggering $260?

A similar parcel from UK to USA (Royal Mail Parcelforce) is £20.90 ($26.83)

Any tips please?

You should have spoken time first. I've got 2 very good genuine boxes in my workshop.

US import costs including tax if you get stung, make it completely impossible to import.

The UK cost for 10kg to USA is £21.00? How is that possible.

It costs less to ship from China??

We have the same exorbitant fees shipping from USA to Canada, except via USPS (US postal service).
