Title: Short Axle Tube Toast? Post by: jpperf on May 08, 2019, 04:55:27 am I picked up some short axle tubes to run short axles on my 67 bug. I cleaned them up and found scoring on the outer surface of the bell and the inside of the retainer plate. Are they toast or can they be repaired?

As long as you can get the right preload, I would run it. |
