Are the exhaust ports in the same relative position for twin port and single port heads ? I'm thinking of some parts for a mock-up engine and one of the things I'd use it for is making a turbo exhaust manifold. I can possibly get some scrap single port heads but was wondering about the exhaust position. I used the same header on a 1600 single port in my first car as the 1641 twin port in my next one, so if there is any difference, its negligible.

Thankyou Neil :) It didn't occur to me to use exhaust compatability as a reference. Really didn't want to use my 'good' heads for mock-up. All the best Darren |
