Title: T Bars?
Post by: brewsy on January 12, 2020, 16:18:13 pm
Hi All,
This is probably to UK based folk but..

Who makes the best quality T-Bars?
Looking to fit some to my '67 but as the car is my daily and lives on the street are any up to full on UK weather?
Bearing in mind the car hasn't been washed in a year or two either and probably wont be for another year or two!

Cheers,
Marc

Just buy yourself some aluminium cut it in shape, find somebody who can TIG weld and you have T-bars.
That is how i did it and it cost me 15€.

If you powder coat them it doesn’t  harm them to be driven daily and not being washed . ;)
And for this kind of little bits they don t gonna ask you a fortune either.

That's odd. My Fast Fab bars are angled like normal. But yours are not.

Couple of years ago I bought a set of aluminum hexagon T-Bars at Bug Show.
3 were good but one god bended.
So then this happened:  ;D

Sarge,

your car seems to get better all the time, without actually changing  :P

Hey, THANKS for the kind words.  Cheers!  The '67 still puts a smile on my face when it gets driven (not often enough)!!
