Title: 48 IDA float level changes Post by: samotorsport on October 23, 2020, 09:45:42 am So i had set the floats to 5,5 before the last race . Now after redoing the engine , putting everything back together , I rechecked the foats and they where way of . Something like 8-9 mm
My pressure regulator is set to 0,3 bar 4 Psi while the engine is running at idle . But it does not have a return line to the tank. So what could have caused this issue ? Either the priming of the carbs without the engine running ? Or could it be the level changed because it is a trailered racecar where on some occasions the bowls have been empty while transporting ? Anybody got an idea ? I ve got the 300 needlevalves installed. I only run a 1835 cc , 185 hp and the webers have been modified to have the bigger bowl , So in that case 0,2 should work i guess . I will give it a try , thanks |
